What is Individualised Living Options (ILO)?

Individualised Living Options (ILO) gives you the freedom to shape your ideal home and living arrangement with the supports you need to live safely, confidently, and independently.

With ILO, you decide how you want to live—whether that means sharing a home with a compatible housemate, living with a caring host family, or enjoying your own space with the right support network around you.

ILO focuses on the flexible supports that wrap around your lifestyle, not the type of home itself.

Every arrangement is unique, and your supports may include:

•    Personal care and daily living assistance
•    Skill development to build independence
•    Help with household tasks like cooking, budgeting or shopping
•    Emotional support and everyday decision-making
•    Routines and strategies that help you feel secure and empowered

With ILO, your home becomes a place where you can thrive.

How ACE CARE Supports Your ILO Journey

At ACE Care, we walk beside you through the entire ILO process—from exploring ideas to building a home life that truly feels like yours.

Your Dedicated ILO Mentor

From your very first conversation, you will be connected with an ACE CARE ILO mentor who will:

  • Learn about your goals, strengths and preferences

  • Guide you through designing your ideal living arrangement

  • Work closely with you, your family and your support team

  • Check in regularly to ensure your setup continues to meet your needs

  • Adjust supports as your goals grow and change

The same mentor stays with you throughout your ILO journey, offering consistency, trust, and ongoing guidance.
